Registration
Fire departments and organizations wishing to participate in the 71st Annual Schuylkill County Firefighters’ Association Convention Parade must pre-register using one of the following on-line forms.
In-County Fire Department Registration
Fire Department / Apparatus Check-in
Fire department / apparatus check-in (in-county and out-of-county) will take place at the North Schuylkill Jr/Sr High School between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Saturday, August 16. 2025. All apparatus must be checked-in and in judging by 10:30 am.
Non-Fire Department Check-in
Non-fire department check-in will take place at the Friendship Fire Co. between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Saturday, August 16. 2025.
Judging
Apparatus judging will take place from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the North Schuylkill Jr/Sr High School, 15 Academy Ln, Ashland PA.
All apparatus must be in judging by 11:00 AM.
Judging will be performed by the Officers Group. No white-glove judging will take place.
An in-route judging stand will be located at the Friendship Fire Co., 7th and Pine Sts. Englewood.
All judges’ decisions are final.
Other Rules and Information
All Butler Township, Frackville, & Altamont Apparatus and antiques/privately owned apparatus affiliated with these companies are ineligible for prizes.
Apparatus and antiques privately owned are ineligible judging.
In the event of an emergency, only Butler Township, Frackville Borough, and Altamont apparatus and/or other designated apparatus will respond.
No spot drilling during the parade.
No bells, sirens, loudspeakers, air horns, or any other sound devices are permitted during the parade. Violators will be disqualified.
No alcohol is permitted to be consumed while in the line of parade. Violators will be disqualified.
Intoxicated individuals in the line of parade will result in disqualification of their associated parade entry.
Trophies will be presented at approximately 5:00 PM.

Lineup will take place at the following locations:
- Frackville Memorial Football Stadium
- West Pine and North Hickory Streets (Frackville)
Parade Route
Parade route information.
Post-Parade Social
A post-parade social event will take place at the Friendship Fire Co., 7th and Pine Streets, Englewood. This social event will take place from the conclusion of the parade until the conclusion of the award presentations.
Your convention glass entitles you to beer, soda, water, and hot dogs.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ 1:01.
Food trucks will be available for purchase of additional food items.
